While I appreciate your work and this write-up, fun fact: As it relates to our forefathers, 'Rules for thee but not for me' were in direct response to the notion that colonists should not be allowed to slaughter indigenous Americans for their land beyond the Appalachian line, nor keep in place a slave class and "trade" that allowed "property owners" to amass and extract an amount of private wealth that was starting to terrify the ruling class of the time. Thus, with such a founding, it should come as no surprise that "property owners" who were eventually transformed into corporations with human rights but without all that annoying and pesky accountability that common people are required to abide by can most optimally allow for the desire to live by their most favorite motto of 'We do what we want, bitches!'
